Only the mother feeds them during this period. We adapt the diet of the mother while she is feeding the pups to maintain the quality of her breast milk<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Puppy health<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Our puppies are given a thorough medical check-up on site. During their visit, the vet checks their health and vaccinates, worms and microchips them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Vaccinations and worming<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-1 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Vaccinations are incredibly important to prevent infectious and sometimes deadly diseases in puppies and adult dogs. Our puppies are vaccinated against the following diseases well before they go to their forever home:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Canine distemper<\/li><li>Canine hepatitis (liver disease)<\/li><li>Canine parvovirus<\/li><li>Weil&#8217;s disease (leptospirosis)<\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-style-default\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pomskynederland.com\/nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/04\/onze-pomsky-pups-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2746\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to receiving the above vaccinations, the puppies are also regularly wormed according to a set schedule. Worms are internal parasites that can cause issues including weight loss, stunted growth and digestive problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Chip<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In the Netherlands, every dog breeder is legally required to chip and register their puppies. We chip and register our dogs before they are six weeks old.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dog passport<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>All data about your pup, our vet, the chip, vaccinations and worming are immediately recorded in an official Dutch dog passport. You will get the passport when you pick up your puppy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pedigree<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In the Netherlands there is only one official, recognised pedigree: the so-called FCI pedigree. The Dutch Raad van Beheer (Kennel club) only issues these FCI pedigree to recognised breeds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Pomsky is a crossbreed and therefore not an FCI recognised breed. And because it is not a recognised breed, a Pomsky cannot get an FCI pedigree. This is not expected to change in the coming years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-2 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:5%\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:90%\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-style-default\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pomskynederland.com\/nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/04\/onze-pomsky-pups-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2751\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:5%\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>There are Pomsky breeders who claim to have their own recognised pedigree, be wary of this as it is not an official FCI pedigree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In short:<\/strong> our Pomskies <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">do not have<\/span> a pedigree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hereditary disorders<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When you buy a puppy we sign a contract of sale. This contract gives a 12-month warranty against hereditary illnesses and defects. If your Pomsky gets health issues that, according to a vet, are hereditary, we will reimburse the medical costs for treatment up to the amount of the purchase price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pomsky puppy pack<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Puppies may leave the litter after eight weeks. When you pick up your puppy, you will be given a comprehensive puppy pack. This pack contains the basic necessities and puppy food you\u2019ll need for the first few weeks. The puppy pack includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Royal Canin puppy food<\/li><li>Set of eating and drinking bowls<\/li><li>Collar and leash<\/li><li>Brush<\/li><li>Puppy chew<\/li><li>Toy with the scent of the litter<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019ll only have to buy your dog a bed.
